Dopo una breve ricerca ho valutato alcuni link interessanti al Framework jQuery che a differenza delle solite notizie in rete si occupano di elargire informazioni interessanti sulla sicurezza, performance e selettori vari. A seguire vi segnalo il primo di una breve serie di post dedicati ad alcuni dei migliori e soprattutto utili plug-in per il Framework JQuery.

Iniziamo dunque con i siti di documentazione:

Passiamo ora ad alcuni Plugin interessanti ed utili:

CrossSelect plugin. This plugin can replace any multiple select element with a “switch item to the other column” interface more intuitive to use, and more similar to that seen in many desktop applications.

vTip. vTip is designed to quickly provide very lightweight (1.11KB js, 272b CSS) tooltips to users of jQuery.

HintBox. HintBox is an easy to use search helper and it looks like Google Suggest.

jQuery Bookmark. A jQuery plugin that sets a div to allow sharing of your page on various bookmarking sites.

jQuery Modal Dialog. This plugin implements FaceBook-like modal dialog.

jYoutTube. It takes any YouTube video URL or video ID as first parameter and thumbnail size (big or small) as the second parameter. Utility returns that video’s screenshot URL.

Loading Animation Plugin. A simple Plugin to transparent coloring a area and filling with a loading symbol during a process is running.

Captify.  Captify adds semi-transparent captions that appear on top of images when the user’s mouse rolls over them. It offers a simple way to add captions to images in a manner that doesn’t add clutter to a design. Tested in IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.
